Senator Kaminsky is the sponsor of legislation to establish a commission on the effects of cyberbullying in New York as well as measures that can be taken to address it. “At my Senate roundtable, we will convene an expert panel of educators, students, law enforcement officials and other stakeholders to discuss this serious issue in our schools - and how we can put an end to it.”Ī 2020 study conducted by the Cyberbullying Research Center found that one in five students between the ages of 9 through 12 had seen, perpetrated or been a victim of cyberbullying. “Cyberbullying is a serious threat to our children in today’s world, and I am committed to doing all I can to stamp out this menace to our youth and their well-being,” said Senator Todd Kaminsky. ![]() The event will be live-streamed on the Senator’s website,, as well as on his Senate Facebook page, /senatorkaminsky. ![]() The forum will address the causes and manifestations of this threat to students and provide recommendations to best address the issue. ![]() Senator Todd Kaminsky will host a virtual roundtable on cyberbullying on Thursday, February 11 at 5 pm.
